We are looking for an SSF UK member to take on the exciting role of Network Co-Chair for our Customer Service Network starting in 2023.
The Customer Service Network shares insights and practical experiences of how business and customer needs and wants are leading and changing the operational and strategic ambitions of SSCs and GBS units; how process focus shifts and adapts to incorporate service focus, how technology can be leveraged to support customer service and customer experience, and what challenges have been encountered along the way – through practical sharing of what is being prioritised and how members are coping and adapting to the ever increasing expectations of shared services customers across the business and beyond.
The network seeks to stimulate discussion and share knowledge around supporting the drive for positive customer experiences, broad relationship building and management, and advancing the service management lens on operational delivery. Specific focus is on the service management journey, the changing world of talent and technology, creating and cultivating trusted relationships, measuring and communicating around stakeholder expectations, how customer experiences and expectations are changing – and the critical importance of service culture within Shared Services and across the business end to end.
Our Network Chairs are a very valuable and high profile part of our SSF UK team – and whilst it’s a voluntary role, their industry knowledge, leadership and facilitation skills are critical to ensure consistently high quality network meetings and experiences for our members. Working together with the other Network Chairs, they are a crucial part of the future direction and success of the Forum.
We would welcome suitable applications/nominations from our members for the role of Customer Service Network Chair. Please send a short explanation of why you’d like to be considered and key skills/experience you’d bring to Lynsey.oakes@sharedservicesforumuk.com.
All applications are very welcome and will be considered by the SSF UK Board, who will make a decision in the best interest of the Customer Service network.
If you’d like an informal chat about the role, or to chat to one our other Network Chairs, please do get in touch and we can arrange that for you.
