Yesterday we held our latest Order to Cash network meeting at the iconic Stormont Parliament Buildings in Belfast.
After initial welcomes and introductions from host Lynette Fegan, Head of Income at HSCNI BSO we welcomed Sarah and Rachel from the NICS Innovation Lab who gave us an excellent and insightful presentation on using behavioural science to communicate with greater impact.
Deborah McMahon, eBilling Manager at Allen & Overy, gave an informative member contribution on RPA and an eBilling journey which included information on the process, challenges, impact and what's next.
After a networking lunch we welcomed Sue Chappel FCICM, Director of Strategic Relationships at Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) and Gareth Allen, Trainer at CICM. They provided the group with an insight into insolvency, the objectives of insolvency law, bankruptcy and its effects, individual voluntary arrangements, debt relief orders, administration and company voluntary arrangements.
The day finished with an interactive discussion, sharing best practise. There was discussion around, RPA, eBilling, order to cash processes and legal discovery.
We had a fantastic tour of the Parliament Buildings and even got to vote in the NI Assembly Chambers!!!!!!
Feedback from the day including:
Just wanted to say a big thanks for organising this weeks meeting. It was a very informative and enjoyable day, and a great location !
When the decks are available on the SSF forum web site, please let me know. There are some proposals I want to make to the way we work here at SPX, and the Hackett deck particularly has some good guidance as to what we need to be looking at next
I will attend all sessions going forward where I can, and will always include at least one of my team. So wherever you host the next meeting, we will be there ! These meetings are the best I have seen over the years in terms of content, so thanks again for the effort you put in to this forum - Duncan Trubody, OtC Services Director, SPX Flow Europe Ltd
It was a great day – obviously the location was the huge star! Great speakers and good interaction – well done you! Look forward to catching up again really soon - Sue Chappel FCICM, Director of Strategic Relationships at Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM)
