It has been a busy, yet productive few months at SSF UK and we have successfully delivered some amazing online events. We would like to thank everyone that has attended, viewed and continued to support the Forum this year.
For most of us summer holidays will be slightly different this year, and I am sure you are looking forward to some well earned time off with the family. August will be a quieter month with no events, which will enable us to work on the online events for the rest of 2020 and our flagship, first ever virtual Annual Conference in November.
16th September 2020
The experience of an employee is very important for the success of any organisation. With many of us continuing to work remotely, organisations need to develop an experience that considers the physical environment in which their employees work, as well as the technologies and tools that will enable better engagement, communication, performance and productivity.
Join us for a virtual Leaders event and September Social where we will have presentation from Samantha Woolven from t-three and a Serious Lego Play team building session with Make Happy, followed by afternoon tea delivered to your door.

We are excited to announce that the Annual Conference 2020 is going VIRTUAL. As you know we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year, so we want to end the year on a high and make sure we still provide that fantastic experience that we have all grown to love.
This year the conference will be open to all members, with a slightly different, yet creative agenda and we will keep you updated on all the information as we build our virtual event. We wanted to share the exciting news with you so you can keep the dates in your diary and we can all look forward to what we hope we will a truly memorable event.

Automating Employment Contract Creation
We currently have a very manual process for creating an employment contract. The reason for this is that we have so many varied roles that attract a variety of terms & conditions. As you can imagine a manual process can lead to human error and rework. What we are looking for is there anyone out there who uses an automated tool or a better approach than purely manual production. We are currently working with our SAP team who are investigating what they can do but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Change control in HR Shared Services
We are looking to introduce change control in our Shared Service to ensure that changes are implemented in a controlled, standardised and coordinated manner. We would like the controls to help us to remain aligned with our other centres and give us the ability to truly assess the impact the change has on policy, process, technology, operational tools and templates, vendors and any other related assets. Looking to understand how others control change, what tools you use to manage the relationships between "assets" and how you make the decision to accept or reject the change?
