We had a great response to this survey that I am going to post all answers separately.
In answer to the question - How could we better utilise the website for network interaction?
These were your responses:
Power hours also a great idea as are webinars"
Case studies from members on particular subjects (eg Automation, Process Improvement, Talent management, informal/formal benchmarking).
Website works well for me
Blogs from people, lessons learned with projects
Be good to know what kind of (non-confidential) things were going on in some of the other member's businesses/functions but as everyone is busy, pro-active interaction with SSF isn't always at the forefront of your mind. Maybe the Forum Administrator could co-ordinate a monthly summary from/for members and publish it on the site? Would probably then raise more questions and interactions from other members interested in doing the same thing/able to offer advice. Just something high level, eg: Company X is setting up a new factory in Kenya - first for us in Africa - considering implementation of RPA - had recent demo on supplier portals from company Y - currently offshoring invoice processing activities is changing as technology advances. I would welcome case studies and a knowledge sharing area with regard to RPA and other technology .
Open Job Roles
Ensure access available to all members from a company not just lead role continue to send links to site in all emails to drive traffic and awareness of the content .
Webinars, Presentations, Q&A type activity
Think the format is good - maybe a section for members to suggest topics for discussion areas (but this is already there in the fact that people can post any question).
Question 'Which other formats could the network utilise?' didn't allow me to select more than one option, so I would like to add that Power Hours, mini conferences and cross network meetings are also great formats.
Increased member participation in the forum would be great.
Thank you, great feedback which we will take on board, some of the facilities are already there and of course, we would love our members to interact as much as time allows on our website.
