Dear Members
During these unprecedented times, we wanted to let all of our SSF UK members know that, whilst we are continuing to follow and listen to the advice given by the Government and NHS on the current Covid19 situation, we are also conscious that many members are unable to travel to and attend our face to face events, due to restrictions imposed by their companies. In order to prioritise our members health and wellbeing, we have therefore made the decision to postpone all of our events for the rest of March and April. We will continue to assess postponements as the situation evolves.
Whilst this situation affects our face to face events, we want to let you know that we are prioritising some virtual knowledge sharing sessions and webinars for our members to join, to make sure that you have access to networking opportunities across our members and continue to get the most from your membership.
We are also going to run some "Community Connection" virtual pop-up events. These sessions will provide a welcoming opportunity to have a virtual coffee break with others, who may well find themselves feeling anxious about being more isolated than usual at home, and in need of an opportunity to chat. We are all in this together and if you want to talk about how other organisations are dealing with the situation or share how it is impacting you, we are here to listen. Please contact Lynsey or Meg if this is something you would like to get involved in.
We have set up a live Sli.do poll to gather your feedback and questions.
