Some of you may remember Sam from our Summer Social Leaders event back in 2019 and we are excited to welcome Sam back again to kick off our Future Vision Annual Awards Ceremony 2020.
Award winning Edinburgh Fringe magician Sam Fitton will present his jaw-dropping interactive online magic show ‘Virtually Impossible’ at this years awards ceremony on the 11th November from 6pm. From the comfort of your own home watch “Ethereal tricks and awesome stunts fall effortlessly from his hands” and see Sam “Radiate wonder with every movement”.
Sam Fitton is a National award winning magician and speaker based on Stockport, near Manchester.Growing up in Ramsbottom, he began his performing career at the Red Hall Hotel, where he landed his firstwhere I landed my first professional booking at the age of 14. Sam had, had an interest in magic since he was a child but it wasn’t until a chance meeting with another magician whilst on the way to have eye surgery that I started to learn the real tricks of the trade.
After leaving St Gabriel’s High School, I was destined to be a science geek, over achieving in every academic subject. I went on to study at Holy Cross College before reading Biology at Lancaster University. During thistime he realised what I really wanted to do with my life. Perform. So he joined the Police (don’t ask!) But after two years I’d put it off long enough and so I took the plunge and set up business full time as ‘Sam Fitton – Magician’ based here in Manchester.
Fast forward to present day and he is proud to have won 4 regional awards, a national award, entertained dozens of celebrity clients and was even booked to perform in the Seychelles.
In 2016 SAM co-wrote and directed the most successful debut show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival through PBH with business partner Aaron Calvert. ‘Mind Games’ officially ‘sold out’ as more than 5000 people came to see the show.
Since then Aaron and Sam have worked together on numerous TV projects through their company Lost Luggage Productions as well as produce & co-write our Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows for 2017, ‘Aaron Calvert: AWAKEN‘ & ‘A Case of Wonders‘ (by Sam Fitton) respectively.
To say he like to keep busy is an understatement with more than twice weekly private performances at weddings, corporate events & parties as well as consulting, writing & directing for TV & theatre.
With aspirations to play the villain in a Film or TV show, he set myself exceptionally high standards and even tougher goals. But his passion for theatre, acting, magic & performance has always seen him rise to the occasion & deliver his best.
